Expert Groups Roundtable held at the PSTU in Amman

Led by Dr. Abdallah Al-Zoubi (PSUT) the local Coordinator of the NQF-J Project, the participants presented and discussed the level of advancements of the project’s activities and in particular on the drafting of the discipline descriptors.

A roundtable was held at the Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan on 13 February 2017 with representatives from the Ministry of Higher Educaiton and Scientific Research, the Higher Education Research Council, Hashemite University, German-Jordanian University, Yarmouk University, Mutah University, and PSUT.

Led by Dr. Abdallah Al-Zoubi (PSUT) the local Coordinator of the NQF-J Project, the participants presented and discussed the level of advancements of the project’s activities and in particular on the drafting of the discipline descriptors. Feedback were also provided on the online questionnaire and a specific emphasize was made on the need to have more participation from university’s presidents and vice-presidents. Dr. Bashar Hammad (Hashemite University) gave a summary on his meeting with the High Education Council and the positive support received by its members. The last part of the meeting was dedicated to the preparation of the National Conference on NQF Development (Dev. 1.8). The exact content, agenda, and name of the participants from both Jordan and Europe were discussed and agreed upon by all the participants. Minutes will be circulated by the Project Coordinator to all the consortium members.
